Ree Drummond (born Ree Ann Duncan) is a famous American writer, blogger, television personality who writes about food and photography. She is most famous for her blog The Pioneer Woman. She lives on the Oklahoma ranch. The Pioneer Woman writes on her blog about the daily lives of the wife of a ranch and her mother. In the Annual Weblog Awards, The Pioneer Woman won the Weblog of the Year in 2009, in 2010, 2011, and 2012. The Pioneer Woman was raised in Oklahoma, Bartlesville. At college, she was studying Journalism and gerontology. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions of a Pioneer Woman has been one of her many popular pages. This blog has become an enormous success, with numerous major publications praising her writing style and the quality of her photos. The blog also has visually stunning recipe for food. The Pioneer Woman was her first TV series, and is broadcast through The Food Network. Apart from publishing books, she's a prolific cook. She recently announced that her book From Black Heels to Tractor Wheels is being turned into a movie through Columbia Pictures.
