Adams grew as the seventh 7-year-old in Castle Rock Colorado. In the late 1990s, she began professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Later, in Minnesota, at a local theatre, she was a selected to play a role in a mock film documentary on beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. After making her screen debut as a cute but serious contestant she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's career in film began in the late 1940s after she was signed by MGM. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. She starred as Norma in several popular films throughout time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film released in 1954.
